Performance

Along with the school syllabus, experiencing art forms is a necessary part of education.  More the children get to experience varied art forms; more prolific their thought process starts becoming. Art forms like Drama, Dance, Music and Story Telling induce development of individual aspects like Sensitivity, Creativity, Aesthetics, Empathy, Intuition and Conclusion. Imagination of a child is inspired by what it perceives. Children get along easily with these art forms. Swaarka aims to keep children engaged and to make sure children develop a vivid imagination by involving learning through Art forms.

Goshtabishta ( October 2019)

Swaarka performed ‘Goshtabishta’ in the October of 2019 at ‘Balranjan Kendar, Pune’. Children grow up listening to stories and telling stories from a very young age. They enjoy listening to stories through different mediums. Two different stories were presented before children during this activity. First one in the form of a playwright performance and the second one using mediums of Music and Drama. During the activity, team members were initiating conversations with children. Live Music was used during these activities. This helped the children experience and become familiar with new musical instruments. Different aspects were given a thought while performing before children, few of which were selection of the stories, mediums to be adopted while performing, Innovation in storytelling and involvement of children in the process.
